I had to go gift shopping again and I wanted to also look for craft books and books about buying a house. I bought The Candlemaker's Companion by Betty Oppenheimer, 100 Questions Every First-Time Home Buyer Should Ask by Ilyce R. Glink, and Again the Magic by Lisa Kleypas (I've sworn off buying impulse purchased romance books, but I've read a few books by Kleypas and one of her books happens to be a romance favorite).
I also ordered How to Buy A Home When You Can't Afford It from half.com because my SO and I are going to try to buy a house in the next year or two, but we are on a tight budget. I read the book last year and it had some great advice, but we weren't as desperate to move then as we are now so I didn't think the advice applied to us. But circumstances have changed now.
